While the standard Montblanc 144 has a resin cap and barrel, this 1441 Solitaire boasts a sterling silver cap, lending it a luxurious and weighty feel. Furthermore, the nib is crafted from 18k gold, not the usual 14k gold.

Unlike its successor, the 145, which has a screw-on cap, this model features a distinctive snap-on cap.

The pen is in splendid condition. There are no cracks, chips, malfunctions, or engravings.

The nib size is B (broad), allowing for the satisfying writing experience of bold lines.
