The core of the just-arrived Smart 2 trainer updates is the little green sensor—now with full Bluetooth Smart and ANT+ connectivity to pair with smartphones, tablets, laptops, and now traditional cycling computers. The new ANT+ connectivity was specifically added to broadcast directly to Garmin head units, as the previous BLE version required the use of a smart device to log your training—now collect training data straight to your Garmin, even if you are riding inside to train alongside some other structured training program.
