This is a vintage brooch from the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH). Established in only-arrived York in 1869, this museum is also famous for being the setting of the movie "Night at the Museum."
The gold-tone base features a hummingbird motif. The wings are green enamel, and the head and body are adorned with a colorful pave of emeralds, brown, amethyst, and yellow rhinestones.
The hummingbird, also known as a humming bird, is a happy motif symbolizing "fancy, beauty, and happiness." Wearing this on your outings might bring you good luck!
