Fundoshi is the traditional Japanese undergarment for adult males, made from a length of cotton.
We carefully sew each and every piece ourselves. Recently, people have taken to calling it retro underwear, getting attention from both men and women, young and old. People like it because it does not use rubber waistbands that constrict the waist and cause rashes, has magnificent breathability, and feels gentle and cozy to wear. Do try it out for yourself. In the Edo period, it was mainly worn by doctors and literati who were not involved in manual labor.
■How to wear Etchu Fundoshi? (1) Suspend the Fundoshi from your waist and tie the cord in front of your stomach. (2) Pull the cloth hanging on your waist through between your legs (from back to front) and bring it to your stomach. (3) Put the cloth through the cord from bottom to top and let it hang in front of your stomach, and you're done.
・Hand wash individually with lots of water. ・Please avoid soaking it in water for long hours.
