“A Cooks Tour of the Eastern Shore” cookbook has earned a reputation as containing the “Must Have” recipes from The Eastern Shore of Maryland’s local residents, many of which have been passed down for generations. Included are recipes for fish, crabs, clams, and oysters; breads, pones, beaten biscuits, vegetables, sauces, salads, candies, cookies, cakes and more regional fare of the Chesapeake Bay. Book is still available today but this one is a RARE AND HARD TO FIND first printing of the second edition published by Tidewater Publishers in 1959. The first edition was published by the EASTON MARYLAND MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AUXILIARY in 1948. No ISBN number. Book is spiral bound with 380 pages of over 450 recipes. Condition is very good with no rips or tears. There is corner creasing on a few pages and minor edge wear. The only stain is pictured on the the copyright page. Please see photos.
