African Pride is one of the foremost Annona's, often having a fruitier, more tropical flavor than the cherimoya. Fruits tend to be larger than the size of a sugar apple, often having knobby, green skin, and a custard-like flesh with a bit more 'chew' than a cherimoya. Fruits may turn slightly yellow when ripe.
