The panel comes with a 6' chaining cord to connect up to eight Boulder 30's into a high-output solar array. A green LED shows when the panel is receiving solar energy, a red LED lights when a power pack is detected and sending power to charge it. The panel is covered with scratch-resistant tempered glass and is supported by an aluminum frame. The glass and frame are rated for a 20-year life. The water resistant Boulder 30 is rugged enough to be permanently installed, but the size and weight also make it highly portable.
